This clinic is direct-pay, meaning we do not accept insurance, nor do we bill. Clients are responsible for payment of services rendered, at or before the time of service.
All new patients are required to provide a valid credit card number in order to schedule a new patient appointment. No charges will be applied to your credit card unless you miss or cancel your appointment without proper notice according to our cancellation policy (see policies section). Your credit card information is electronically stored in an encrypted form in our EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system. Only the last 4 digits are visible to our staff. You are responsible to let us know if you want to change your credit card on file. We can accept debit and HSA cards as well as MasterCard, Visa, and Discover for the EMR system. At the time of your appointment, we can accept cash, check or use the credit card in the system.
A detailed receipt of services can be provided for submission to insurance, for possible reimbursement. It is advised that clients desiring insurance reimbursement, discuss this with their insurance company in advance and understand the parameters of payment for out-of-network providers, deductible and whether pre-authorization is required.
